Having fun while helping our communities

Minnesota employees present a check to
United Way of Southwest Minnesota.
Feb. 2, 2016 — Employees at two of our locations (Marshall, Minn., and the Houston, Texas area) recently helped raise a combined total of more than $168,000 for their respective local United Way chapters. Contributions came from employee donations and matching funds from the Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation.

Events for local United Way chapters can be a fun time for our teams. Team members come up with creative ideas for raising funds and getting the word out about how the donations benefit local charitable organizations that support improving communities in the areas of education, financial stability, health, safety and well-being, and hunger.

We are proud of the long-standing roles our team members have played in giving back to our communities and helping youth. For our United Way campaigns, individual team members have been the driving force in raising nearly $4 million since 1998 for local United Way chapters.

We thank everyone who has contributed to this effort for the people within their communities.
