Employees donate coats to keep Southwest Minnesota community warm this winter

Our team in Marshall, Minnesota, donated
five full bins of winter gear to help keep the
community warm this winter.
Nov. 22, 2016 — For the sixth-consecutive year, our team in Marshall, Minnesota, collected winter clothes for a community-wide “Coats for Kids” drive. This year, employees collected five bins full of gently used winter gear. A total of $60 was also donated, which will be matched dollar for dollar by the Schwan's Corporate Giving Foundation for a total donation of about $120.

The community-wide effort was coordinated by the United Community Action Partnership, a non-profit organization that provides social services to several counties in Southwest Minnesota. In the last five years, the organization has distributed approximately 2,300 coats.
