Schwan's Corporate Giving Foundation.
Dec. 29, 2016 — Team members in Bloomington, Minnesota, continued their ongoing efforts to help food shelves in the Twin Cities area.

Recently, our team, along with representatives of the Schwan's Corporate Giving Foundation, presented an $18,719 check to Second Harvest Heartland. The check included a dollar-for-dollar match from Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation, which committed to matching employee contributions from their $1 jean-day campaign.

The overall donation also included $1,500 to offset Second Harvest Heartland’s administrative costs from the Food Mania campaign in July. The foundation added funds to the grant so that more of each employee’s contribution would go toward supporting their community.

Schwan’s Corporate Giving Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on efforts to end hunger, promote youth education and leadership development, and provide essential services that advance the health of the communities where The Schwan Food Company’s employees live and work. The foundation is headquartered in Marshall, Minnesota.
