July 28, 2017 — Employees from our Freschetta® brand team recently attended their final Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo for the year in Worcester, Massachusetts. The scheduled events throughout the year have been a highlight for the team as they work to share Freschetta® Gluten Free pizza with those who are gluten intolerant.

Since participating at the Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expos held in various cities across the United States, our Public Relations Manager Tarsha Rice said that the team has had meaningful conversations with consumers about why having a gluten-free pizza that tastes like “real pizza” makes a big difference in their lives.

“Most of the consumers we meet at these shows need to live gluten free for medical reasons. The look of pure joy and satisfaction they have as they bite into our amazing pizza is why we participate in these events,” Tarsha said. “I think we have successfully converted a lot of these consumers into fans of our Freschetta® Gluten Free pizza.”

This was the team’s third show for the year and fifth show since 2016. The Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo is the largest of its kind in the United States drawing thousands of attendees to each event.

At the two-day expo in Worcester, our team distributed Freschetta® Gluten Free pizza samples to more than 3,000 attendees. They also handed out $1.50-off coupons for attendees so they could purchase the pizza and enjoy it at home with friends and family.
